Argentinian wines with french spirit

In the middle of the ocean of the great and prestigious vineyards of Gualtallary, many of them with hundreds of hectares, our family-own “bodega boutique” and its vineyard emerge as if it were a small island.

OUR WINERY

“The sun, so generous in Argentina, together with the altitude, are our greatest allies. Since sun and altitude give our wines an exceptional concentration of polyphenols, whose organoleptic and antioxidant properties act, according to numerous scientific investigations, as cardiovascular protectors.”

HIGHLAND WINES IN A UNIQUE REGION

The combination of high-altitude alluvial soils, irrigation from the Andes Mountains, a long growing season with more than 250 sunny days a year, little rain, and high temperature ranges are conducive to growing organic grapes. These climatic and geographical elements come together to provide excellent ripening and concentration of fruits, developing intense colors, aromas and flavours.

OUR WINES

FOUR PARTICULARITIES OF OUR WINES

VINEYARDS “PIE FRANCO”

The vineyards planted in the “franco foot” system (not grafted) have been carefully selected for their taste qualities. This malbec come from the research and mass selection of old Malbec vineyards carried out by the Mercier nursery.

SUSTAINABLE VITICULTURE

The harsh winters and arid summers of the Uco Valley naturally protect the vines from their usual enemies. This allows us to cultivate our vineyards without any use of chemicals or pesticides. We only use organic products (as stated in our certification process)

MANUAL HARVEST

The harvests are carried out exclusively by hand, which allows the collection of only the healthiest and perfectly ripe grapes. This meticulous process guarantees us a careful selection of the grapes.

NO ADDED TARTARIC ACID

In our red wines we look for the expression of the fruit with its natural acidity that is why we avoid all kinds of chemical additives. We also do not add tartaric acid or any other preservative, except sulfites.
